As a solutions provider we are increasingly involved in managing the entire
supply chain for our stock material and components.
Whilst we supply forged bar from stock and forged components to order, we also
enter into long term agreements with our customers and engage in more downstream
activities.
Where requested, we manage specific stock holdings for customers, ensuring
continuity of supply and agreed pricing mechanisms.
We can provide components in proof machined or fully machined condition, to suit
the needs of our customers, and can also meet the demand for parts to be
supplied in kits.
Through Premier Hytemp's extensive supply chain we can manage all
hot working processes, these are controlled and monitored by our
metallurgical team to ensure best practice and consistency of
product. We supply press forging, ring rolling, rerolling, GFM forging.
Everything we supply is tested and certified in accordance with the customer’s
specification. We can undertake additional testing and arrange for external
inspectors to witness any stage of our processing.
Heat Treatment
After processing, components are heat treated to produce the properties required
by the customer’s specification.
Testing
Testing is carried out at various stages during processing and on the final
component to ensure the properties required are achieved. In the case of
destructive testing of the final component, prolongations or sacrificial
components are tested. All components are hardness tested and tested
ultrasonically for defects.
Sawing & Proof Machining
Components can be supplied in the black state after forging. However we strongly
recommend that customers order in a proof machined condition which will
eliminate or at least reduce the possibility of any sub-surface defects. To see our workshop sawing and machining capabilities, please click

Final Machining
We are able to provide fully machined components to customer drawings. Alliances with a number of vendors give us the ability
to manage finish machining on behalf of our clients.
